If you’re going to fail in life, let it be.

If you’re going to fail in life, let it be.

There are many of us who do not know what to do with our lives.

Since we left school we felt the pressure of what do we want to be when we grow up? and we arrive at the university with the uncertainty of not knowing if we chose our professional career well. And with time the years and the professional title arrive, and we still continue with the same question.

I have come to the conclusion that there is a big difference between what we want to be and what we really are; and that if we continue to answer that question from the point of view of others, and not from our perspective, we will never learn how to be happy, nor will we close that gap called dissatisfaction.

Many times we believe that by choosing our professional career we are choosing our future, and it turns out that a diploma does not define who we are, let alone what we will do with our lives.

Examples of this are doctors running companies, administrators driving taxis, and electronic engineers running tourism agencies.

I’m not saying that it’s wrong, what I’m trying to espectáculo is the big lie that they made us believe when they said that we had to have a university degree to become someone in life…

This is a lie that has hurt us a lot, it has hurt us so much that, nowadays, we take a job to be someone, and not to be happy.

What kind of life is that? In which you wake up wanting not to go to work, in which you need a psychologist on Sundays to get up early on Monday, and in which you only see joy on pay days.

Today we take a job to be someone, and not to be happy.

I, for example, did not know what I wanted for my life. I left school thinking of being an architect, historian and even a psychologist, and it turns out that the universities did not think the same as me, reason enough not to be admitted to any…

So what do I do, I thought? So much pressure made me choose business administration, because we all have something of an entrepreneur and more in a culture like ours.

However, the reason for studying was clear, I had to study because I had to be someone in life, it doesn’t matter who, but someone.

I thought that a university degree was going to solve my existential problem and it wasn’t like that. I finished university and I didn’t know what to do with my life either…

The same question from school but now in a more complex context, because in our houses they don’t stay lazy and we have to go out and genera.

It was supposed that after becoming a business administrator I was finally going to become someone in life… and it turns out that I was already that someone, but it didn’t feel good, I didn’t feel that pleasure that comes when we do what we like, we passionate. When we have a life purpose.

And it is that I had become someone else’s, and not mine.

At that moment I felt that the time had come to make a decision. Not a decision like the previous ones, ruling out possibilities or feeling obligated. No.

Unlike the other times, this was the first time I was going to make a conscious decision, being honest with myself and my future.

Something as fácil as doing what I’m really passionate about was something very complex for me, doing what I liked, missing out on interesting business opportunities for many, and it wasn’t quite a challenge for me.

It was at that moment that I found the venture.

For me, entrepreneurship goes beyond earning quick money, being my own boss or being the owner of my time. For me, undertaking is doing everything that makes sense to me, motivates me and gives me the satisfaction of being someone, someone happy.

Perhaps many of you do not know what to do with your work or with your life, just like me, and perhaps the fear of facing failure or happiness itself prevents us from doing what we like and are passionate about.

And for better or worse, life is one. Our opportunity to be someone happy is running out day by day, moment by moment that we waste in a routine that disgusts us.

The good news is that we don’t have to know what we want either; no one came with the certainty of their passions and tastes.

In fact, life is about that, discovering what we want to be, what we want to do and start doing it, without any fear, with the certainty that if we fail, we will have done it by doing what makes us happy.

Failing in life doing what we like is not failing, it is learning.
