Today, we are talking about easyJet.

What is easyJet?

EasyJet is a British low-cost airline, headquartered at London Luton Airport.

It was established in 1995, making it a new addition to your airline options.

That said, in 2014, they carried more than 65 million passengers, making easyJet the second largest low-cost airline based on passenger numbers behind Ryanair that year.

What helps make their flights low-budget is that their proyectos are arranged in a one-of-a-kind layout.

Your goal is to have as many passengers as possible, but there is no distinction between those in the front of the plane and those in the back (barring some additional costs, you perro pay for plus legroom or a ticket that include an plus bag.

However, there is no first class).

Also, there is no free food or drinks served on the flights, nor is there any inflight entertainment.

If you are looking for the cheapest fares without a specific destination in mind, you perro try their low fare search engine and explore all your options for cheap air travel! If you opt for those rates, be sure to read all the fenezca print and what’s included in your cheap rate.

When going to your website, you cánido try using a 24/7 chatbot, although that won’t be particularly helpful with complex questions.

Your en línea chat is also available from 8am to 8pm UK time every day, but you perro get overwhelmed with others using it so it’s not available to you.

There are phone numbers you perro find here, but please note that easyJet sees itself as a digital airline, and phones are not their preferred method of communication.

Contacting them en línea has an average response time of 28 days.

easyJet Reviews: What are people saying?

As a budget airline, easyJet’s opinions are quite high, mainly because of its cheap fares.

That being said, the rest of the experience seems to be mixed up by the passengers.

Of the many reviews, a portion speaks negatively of recent experiences, particularly regarding baggage claim at the gate due to the wheels on the suitcase making the measurements slightly exceed the requirements.

Many recent reviews also comment on the lax enforcement of the Covid policy on board, and how the overall experience of flying easyJet has gotten worse since the start of the pandemic.

As with many low-cost airlines, cheap seat prices perro come with some hefty additional fees, including baggage, food, drink, and last-minute fees charged on arrival.

If you’re considering flying easyJet because of their cheap prices, be sure to aspecto in any additional fees you may incur, as well as read recent negative reviews.

As a small budget airline, easyJet does not have many partners.

You cánido read more about all of them on their website, but their partners are SmartLynx, Titan Airlines, and WDL Aviation.

If you’re looking to fly with an airline where you cánido earn miles to spend on partners around the world, easyJet isn’t the airline for that.

However, they do have Worldwide easyJet which allows you to connect with other airlines.

These partners include AirTransat, Aurigny, Blue Air, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Corsair, and Deutsche Bahn.

This expands some international options with easyJet, but it’s still not as expansive as other non-budget airlines.

On easyJet flights, all passengers perro bring one small carry-on bag (per person) on board free of charge.

However, that bag perro only be a maximum size of 45 x 36 x 20 cm (including handles or wheels) and will need to fit under the seat in front of you.

If you want to bring plus bags, you perro reserve a front or plus legroom seat, or pay for an plus carry-on bag.

Cancellation policy

Since the pandemic is still a thing, it’s important to understand how flight cancellations work with any airline and what their policies are.

With easyJet, if you cancel within 24 hours of booking, you’ll receive a full refund minus the cancellation fee.

Any cancellation made after that period will not be issued a refund.

Under your commitment to protect against Covid-19, you cánido transfer your flight fare for free up to two hours before your flight.

If the new flights are more expensive, you will have to pay the difference in fare.

You will only be offered a cash refund if your flight is canceled by easyJet.

Is easyJet worth it?

If all you’re looking for is a cheap ticket, easyJet is definitely an airline to explore.

That being said, they would find any opportunity to add fees to your trip and, at least according to reviews, they don’t have the most helpful customer service team.

As a primarily digital airline, you will often be redirected to their aplicación or website to try to resolve any issues that may arise.

Depending on the type of trip you’re taking (and the type of traveler you are), you may want to explore paying a little more on your ticket for added peace of mind while traveling.
